If your players haven't played a lot of normals, your MMR won't be high and you'll be matched against lower level players, or players having played as few games as you. If you keep playing normals, you'll end up playing against better and better players, as your MMR rises MMR in League of Legends is a hidden matrix, as a result, there have been many conflicts among players on what their actual rank is. And many players have asked Riot Games to make this matrix visible to them. My normal MMR is crap. It also affects the amount of LP you gain or lose. Arqade is a question and answer site for passionate videogamers on all platforms. It only takes a minute to sign up. In Ranked game, it is my understanding that players are listed by Elo, with the highest Elo being the team captain and the lowest Elo being the last pick. Is the same logic applied to normal games? If I'm listed as fifth on my team, does that mean I have the lowest normal Elo score on my team or is there no particular order in normal games? I don't think there any ranking in normal mode. If order there is, it's definitely not a ELO score.
